- =========================================================================
-
- Harwdware :
- -----------
-
- An Amiga with minimum 1 Mb RAM.
-
- CIBLE was developped on an A2000/3Mb RAM and AmigaDOS 2.1.
- It has also been tested with success on an A3000/3Mb RAM and AmigaDOS 3.x.
- It should run on under OS 1.3, but I was not able to test it...
-
- Hard disk installation :
- ------------------------
-
- Simply copy the directory icon "CIBLE" where you wish to have the game.
- That's all! You should be able to run CIBLE from there whatever is the PATH
- or DEVICE.
-
-
- Description : ( CIBLE means target in french )
- -------------
-
- This little game was developped for my daughter aged 7. The purpose was to
- train her on calculation (addition) in a different way than the traditional
- way.
-
- What you have to do in CIBLE, is "just" calculate how many points were done
- on the target. The result is checked by the system that returns if it is
- right or not. All the shoots and the associated points can be viewed after
- each calculation (to understand where was the fault for example).
-
- For those kids that are too much confortable, you can add some stress with
- a timer showing that there are not so fast at answering... ;-)
- The next step is to set an alarm. This will limit the time for calculating.
-
- For those that feel desesperatly superior, just play in challenge mode.
- He will see if he can really enter in the top 20 best player of the
- category...
-
- In despite that all is writing in french, this game should be easy to play.
- As a minimum help, here are some key translation:
-
- Jouer Play Pas de son! No sound! Tir Shot
- Quitter Quit Chronometrage Timer Aide Help
- Verifier Verify Concours Challenge Vu! OK!
-
- If this file is rename as "CIBLE.doc", it will be loaded directly by the
- scrolling menu <Aide/Documentation> and used as an help file.
-
- BUGS:
- -----
-
- * The fact that the timer is stopped everytime you access the scolling menus
- A way to make very high scores...
- You can also edit the ASCII score files... :-)
-
- * Some sound synchronization problems could happen on accelerated Amiga, but
- I was not able to test it...
-
- * <JOUER> button has sometimes a wrong color.
-
- * My english documentation. Sorry!
-
- * ??? What you found...
-
- History and futur:
- ------------------
-
- No real history to tell... This CIBLE version is 1.00!
- As my daughter shows some interrest for CIBLE, I decided to distribute it
- thinking that it could make some other children pleased with it.
-
- The bad point (?) is that I haven't planned any new release for CIBLE.
- If people request it, I can easily make some localised versions like
- English, German or other languages (with a good dictionnary...).
- As I am a little bit lazzy, don't expect it from my own. :-)
-
- If important bugs are found, I will try to fix them but without any waranty
- from my part. (I told you, I am a little bit lazzy)
